Biography

I teach Algebra 1, Geometry, and Modeling Our World.

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Seattle to go PT school at the University of Washington. I fell in love with Seattle and decided to stay! I played volleyball in college and I still love playing in adult leagues around the city. I actually met my husband playing volleyball! I also like hiking, playing board games, reading and traveling.

A graduate of Western Washington University (BA MusEd), Southern Oregon University (MA Theatre Arts). I am lucky to fill my days making music and theatre with young people!

I teach IB Literature Year 1 (11th grade) and World Literature (10th grade).

Education: BA in Literature and in French, MA in Literature, MA in Education.
