Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year.  This is my 13th year at Ingraham.  I teach tress sections of AP Statistics, and one section each of IB Math Analysis and Approaches and IB Economics.  I have 2nd period prep.  Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the class or how your child is doing.

Personal Message

My name is Alessandro Scilletta and I was born in New York City.  I moved to Seattle 4 years ago from NYC where I taught chemistry, biology and physics for 6 years in the South Bronx, Harlem and Hell's kitchen.  Prior to becoming a teacher, I served 10 years in the Air Force (4 active duty and 6 years in the Air National Guard) where I worked at a Boom Operator and a Computer, Cryptography, Network and Switching systems technician.  

I absolutely love being a science teacher!  Getting to geek out about science (and set off the occasional fire alarm) with our wonderful students is an amazing privilege.  I would do this job for free if I could.
