Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

Advisors:
Karin Von Guenner – Room 116
Kim Marberg – Room 118

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization in Family and Consumer Sciences education. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education.

Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication necessary in the home and workplace.

At Ingraham High, the purposes of this group are to find leaders in the rough and to groom them in order to be more capable later in life. We would also want people to have a feeling of family once they join the club. That means that a person would come to feel like they have a purpose to come to school and not just be part of the society.

FCCLA: The Ultimate Leadership Experience! Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers, and communities.
