YouthBuild is a 6-month, full-time, paid, GED attainment, WA state registered pre-apprenticeship construction training program.

Services Offered:

  • Construction training
  • GED Instruction
  • Transportation Support
  • Pathway to a career in the trades
  • Daily Stipend
  • Earn 30+ free college credits

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18-24 years old
  • Eligible for Food Stamps
  • Looking to attain their GED
  • Interested in Construction

Healthy Relationships Leadership Camp – Summer 2025

Join us this summer for a free Healthy Relationships Leadership Camp designed for teens ages 15-18 interested in becoming peer educators, activists, and leaders! From July 21st to 24th at Capitol Hill Library, participants will build essential skills around consent, boundaries, accountability, and understanding power dynamics in relationships. The camp also focuses on leadership development, recognizing healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, and boosting confidence in public speaking. Lunch and snacks are provided. This experience is a great addition to resumes and college applications!

BeProject 2026 HBCU Tour

It’s time to have your students register for The BeProject 2026 HBCU Tour! The BeProject promotes Black Excellence through tours of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Registration for the 2026 tour is currently open. Our tours are scheduled during Spring Break which works for us here in Seattle to be able to visit these institutions while they are in classes and the campuses are vibrant and full of college student preparing themselves to be the next generation of leaders our communities, our nation and world-wide. Our chaperones are experienced and dedicated to providing our students a college preparatory experience.  We’ve done tours for the Seahawks, Microsoft, Seattle Public Schools, and San Francisco Public Schools, and have hade students join our tours from all over the state of Washington, Portland OR, San Francisco CA, Oakland CA, Baltimore MD, New York NY, and Philadelphia PA. The BE Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
