Class of 2025: Important Updates

Semester 1 Transcripts

Colleges often request 1st semester transcripts because they evaluate your past, present, and future coursework when offering your acceptance into their universities. While receiving these emails might feel a bit overwhelming and scary, please know this is completely normal—especially since Seattle Schools start later than many others across the country. Most schools end their 1st semester before winter break.  These email reminders from colleges happen every year, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • There’s no action needed on your part. Counselors will upload your transcripts to Common App as soon as grades are finalized, shortly after February 11th.
  • In the meantime, your focus should be on finishing the semester strong. Colleges want to see your continued hard work and determination.

Remember, you’ve got this! The emails you’re receiving are just part of the process, not something to stress over. Your counselors are here to ensure everything is handled smoothly so you can focus on your goals.

Lastly, since we are talking about transcripts, counselors will also upload your final transcripts at the ending of the school year.  Nothing you need to do for that.  We got you!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
