Floyd Schmoe Peace Scholarship
We are proud to announce the Floyd Schmoe Peace Scholarship, honoring the legacy of a dedicated peace activist and humanitarian. Established in 1997, this scholarship recognizes outstanding high school seniors from Seattle Public Schools, Shoreline Public Schools, Edmonds School District, and Northshore School District who have demonstrated commitment to humanitarian efforts.
Each selected recipient will receive a one-time scholarship of \$2,500 to support their post-high school education. Applicants must be members of the Class of 2025 and involved in meaningful humanitarian work, such as volunteering at food banks or tutoring underprivileged children. Applications are open now and can be submitted by students or through nominations.

Gasparovich Scholarship
Applications are in the Ingraham HS Counseling Office.
Due to the IHS Counseling office by Friday May 16 at 4 PM.
The Gasparovich Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the teaching and coaching careers of Tony and June Gasparovich. Tony became a legendary coach in the Seattle Metro League.
Criteria
- Any senior student at Ingraham may apply who can meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- A male who has won a varsity Ingraham baseball or football letter, or a female who has earned a varsity letter in any sport at Ingraham.
- Has exhibited qualities of leadership, honesty, integrity both on and off the field and in some other area of endeavor, extra-curricular or community, such as working with the physically or mentally handicapped.
Applicant interviews with the Gasparovich Scholarship Committee will take place on Wednesday June 4, 2025 starting at 10:00am. You will be notified of an interview time by the Counseling Office once all applications have been received.
Attention College-Bound Seniors and Families!
Exciting changes have been made to the EF Maxwell Scholarship this year that may benefit our students. For over 30 years, the EF Maxwell Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $12 million to over 650 high school seniors in the Puget Sound area. This year, the foundation has eliminated the financial need requirement, making the scholarship accessible to all high school seniors.
Qualifying students can receive up to $5,000 per year, totaling $20,000 for those attending private colleges.

Identity-Based Scholarships
Blacks in Government Scholarship Due June 1
The Port of Seattle Chapter of Blacks In Government is now accepting 2025 Scholarship Applications.
How to Apply: Complete the Scholarship Application and include all the information outlined in the application. All applications must be received by 11:59 pm on June 1, 2025. Two scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded during a scholarship celebration ceremony on June 18, 2025.
- Academic Achievements (Evelyn Findley Outstanding Academic Achievement Award)
- Community Service (Lilyian Casswell-Isley Outstanding Community Service Award)
Applicants for the Scholarship must: Reside in one of the following counties: King, Snohomish, Kitsap, Pierce, Whatcom, or Skagit, Be a graduating high school student in 2025. Have demonstrated involvement in community service. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and superb academic achievement
The Charles V. Johnson Youth and Law Forum
- For students who wish to pursue a career in a field related to social justice or the justice system, e.g., police officer, probation officer, attorney, social worker, etc.

College Mix Christian College Scholarship

- For Thai-American students

Scholarships for SPS Students
Scholarships are a type of grant (monetary gift you do not have to pay back) for students to use in paying for after high school training and college programs. Scholarships are available for students as early as elementary school and continue through graduate school.
Federal and State programs provide over 46 billion dollars in student aid. Private companies, community organizations, civic groups, foundations, and religious organizations provide an additional 3 billion dollars in scholarships.
