Ingraham Fall Play Production Presents Proof by David Lindsay-Abaire
Proof is the gripping play that explores family, love and the thin line between genius and madness. Catherine, a young woman, struggles with the death of her brilliant but troubled father, a famous mathematician. Will she inherit her father’s brilliance — or his instability?
Rated PG-13 for strong language.
The show is presented by two different casts of students you can see the Silver cast on Nov. 1, 7, and 9. The Blue Cast will be presenting the production on Nov, 2, 8, and 10.
MOD Pizza Fundraiser, October 18
Support Ingraham High School Jazz Band and dine at MOD Pizza Ballard location on 10/18! Order in person and mention Ingraham Jazz, or online through the MOD app or website using code MODGIVES20 and mention Ingraham High School Jazz. MOD will donate 20% of your bill to support our program!
ASB Stickers Ready for Pickup
If your student paid the ASB fee or received a scholarship for the ASB fee, they can now pick up their ASB sticker from the Fiscal Office, Room 165. It is strongly recommended they bring their student ID card so they can apply the sticker directly onto the card. At this time, the main benefit of having an ASB sticker is that students may receive discounted entry into Seattle Public Schools athletics events where admission is being charged.
There is no rush to get a sticker, we have enough, and they will be available all year.
Thank you for your support of Ingraham Student Activities and Athletics!

School Picture Retakes, Oct 17th- on the Auditorium Stage
Students: It is important to get your photo taken, even if you are not ordering a picture package. The photographer will give you an Ingraham Student ID card, which serves as an ID if you do not have a driver’s permit or license yet. Your photo will also be included in the yearbook (unless you opt-out).
Yuen Lui Studio will photograph makeup and retake portraits at Ingraham High School on Thursday, October 17
Makeup portraits: students who missed the September picture days should plan on getting a portrait taken on Thursday, October 17. Families can preorder makeup portraits here: 2024-25 Ingraham High School Make-up/ Retake Day Pre-payments 10/17
Retake portraits: students who preordered picture day packets for the September picture days can return their package to the photographer in exchange for a retake – a new package of the retake image for all returned packages will be issued at no charge.
View and order portraits: families can view and order portraits from the September picture days here: 2024-25 Ingraham High School – Online Code = Student’s SPS ID #. SAT for seniors and PSAT for juniors
All 11th and 12th grade students are automatically registered by SPS, who pays for the exam. Unfortunately, we can only provide the SAT to seniors and the PSAT to juniors. Testing will take place on the morning of Tuesday, Oct 15th. All students should report to school at 8:50, 9th and 10th grade students will have an alternate activity while 11th and 12th grade students test in classrooms. We have set aside 8:50 to 12:30 for digital test set-up and the exam itself.
If your student cannot test on this date, due to Running Start or another schedule conflict, or if they do not wish to take the SAT or PSAT, please fill out the SAT or PSAT Testing Opt Out form. Unless you/your student responds to this form, we will assume they are testing on the standard date. Knowing of schedule conflicts early, will make rescheduling possible.
Because these exams are digital, students will be required to take the test on a district provided computer – so juniors and seniors need to check one out. Prior to testing, students will need to login, update, and open Bluebook (the College Board app) to ensure their computer is prepped for testing. Students should bring their laptop to advisory on Oct. 9th to prep for this process. Student facing information regarding PSAT/SAT prep can be found on your student’s grade-level Schoology Page. Jennifer Luthe (Testing Coordinator) – jlluthe@seattleschools.org.
Ingraham AP registration and fees due date: Nov. 4th!
As you have hopefully heard from your student’s AP teacher, the deadline to register and pay exam fees is rapidly approaching. Students who want to take their AP class’s exam need to register for it online using a course “join code” from their teacher. When asked in the registration process, students must indicate YES, that they want to take the exam. Both registration and exam fee payment must be completed before the deadline. The standard cost for an AP exam is $120.00 this school year. Fees can be paid by cash or check at Ingraham’s Fiscal Office or pay your fee online via SchoolPay at SchoolPay Please be aware that exam fees paid via SchoolPay have a service fee added. Does your student qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch? If so, please contact Jennifer Luthe at jlluthe@seattleschools.org or in person in room 162 BEFORE paying the exam fee. Students on our FRL list have a significantly lower fee.
Ingraham only has 4 AP exams available due to our extensive IB offerings: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, and AP Statistics. Before paying and registering for an AP exam, please check for conflicts with IB testing. Specifically if your student is taking IB Psychology and also wants to take AP Statistics or AP Computer Science A, there might be a testing conflict. If your student is hoping to take an AP exam other than those provided at Ingraham, you will need to complete a district-level form to demonstrate interest and determine availability. Please keep an eye on your e-mail or go to the District’s Assessment website for more information – that form is not yet published. The district deadline for registration and fee payment is Nov. 6th.

School Communication
Ingraham uses various methods to communicate information out to students and families:
- Students, please start checking your SPS email inbox daily for information from school.
- Schoology pages
- School Bulletins: We email the school bulletin weekly via a system called School Messenger. Occasionally, we hear from parents/guardians who say they are not receiving the bulletin or have suddenly stopped receiving them. It is usually an email filter issue, or you have inadvertently unsubscribed. Please manage your communication preferences

Ingraham Performing Arts News
The Ingraham Performing Arts Boosters (IPAB) fall fundraiser is in full swing, and we need your help! Each year, IPAB steps in to bridge the significant funding gap—around $60,000—between what the school district provides and what’s needed to offer our students exceptional opportunities. Your donations go toward essential costs like music rights, costumes, sound equipment, visiting instructors, set materials, and more. IPAB supports every student in the program, with a strong commitment to equity through scholarships for trips and access to instruments for those in need. Your contribution is crucial in keeping these programs vibrant and accessible to all. Please consider making a donation today: Donate to Ingraham Performing Arts

Athletic News
A lively group of parents and players filled the gym at the Breakfast of Champions this morning. It was fantastic! So far we’ve raised $18,500 that will go towards athletic scholarships, trainer hours, coach training, ice machine, weight room equipment, and so much more for our Rams.
Can we get to $20,000? There is still time to make a donation for Ingraham Athletics Breakfast of Champions!
