Ingraham Graduation Ceremony – Save the Date!

Prior to Winter Break, the district announced graduation dates for SPS high schools. Ingraham’s graduation ceremony will be on June 10th at 4:30pm, at the Ingraham Stadium (also known as the Northwest Athletic Complex).

Due to stadium capacity, each senior will receive four tickets for family/friends to attend graduation inside the stadium. Tickets will be distributed at Senior Checkout on June 8th. There are no additional tickets available, and the school is not able to manage unused tickets after they are dispersed.

Please do not call the school to request more tickets. There is an overflow area just outside the fence on the north end of the field, where non-ticketed guests can view the ceremony, which usually runs about sixty minutes. The ceremony will be live streamed on YouTube for those who are unable to attend. That link will be provided on the Ingraham website a day or two before the ceremony. More information to come later this Spring, so stay tuned!

Bright Futures Student Support Program

Happy New Year Ramily! We want to thank those of you who have donated to this vital student support program, and invite those of you just learning about it, to check us out! The Bright Futures team is made up of dedicated Ingraham staff and parent volunteers who work together to streamline resources to our most vulnerable students, so that they can equitably access their education and inclusively participate in the Ingraham community.

Before the winter break, we spent almost 20% of our annual budget on grocery gift cards for our food and housing insecure families. Would you consider a donation to our annual fund to help cover this cost and to help this essential program continue to run?

Looking for additional ways to help?

Sign up for a food bank delivery shift on a Thursday afternoon to support our Weekend Food Backpack program, or purchase an item for our warm winter clothing drive.

It takes a village, and the RAMily has proven to be one of the best!

Let’s make this a wonderful 2026 for ALL in our community!

Michele Fowler, Bright Futures Chair (foibrightfutures@gmail.com)

College Representative Visits

Students!  One of the more important opportunities available every fall are the College Admissions Rep visits to Ingraham High School. College Admissions Representatives from campuses across the state and country are scheduled to visit IHS and meet with interested students in grades 9-12 (students only). We already have several visitors on the schedule, and they are very excited to meet you. This is one of the few opportunities available to meet the person who may be reading your college application, ask questions about the campus, and gather helpful information to use during your college research and the admission/application process. These visits are especially helpful for seniors who are about to begin the college application process.

Students are required to sign-up to attend these sessions and do so via their Naviance/High School and Beyond Plan accounts.

To sign-up: Please log in to your Clever account

  • Click on Naviance
  • Click on Colleges, then college visits
  • Click on View Details and register for the college you want to attend!

Then write down the visit on your planner or personal calendar. On the date and time of the visit, come down to the library and meet the representative!  You are welcome to stay for a portion of the visit or the entire visit before heading back to class.

Please continue checking the visit section as new college visits are added.

Parents: Visit the Ingraham website under Resources for information College Visits

After School Tutoring in the Library

Tutoring is in the Ingraham library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45–4:45 p.m. and is open to all Ingraham students.

Student Drop-off and Parking on Campus

Parents: Please do not drop off your students on N. 135th St, as that is reserved for district transportation only.  Student drop-off is in the NE Visitor Parking lot.

Students: It is required that all students complete a vehicle registration form and obtain a free parking pass from the main office if they plan on parking on campus.  The process of obtaining a parking pass will be announced soon, so stay tuned.  A valid driver license must be shown when obtaining the parking pass. Student parking is in the lot off Meridian and the south section of the south parking lot next to the fields.  Staff/Visitor parking is next to the auditorium/upper gym entrance, as well as in the south parking lot near the tennis courts.  Do not park in the Helene Madison parking lot.  Cars may be ticketed and/or towed if you are illegally parked in a accessible parking spot (without the appropriate parking permit) or in a fire lane (yellow or red curbs).

School Communication

Ingraham uses various methods to communicate information out to students and families:

  • Students, please start checking your SPS email inbox daily for information from school and read the Friday bulletins.
  • Schoology pages
  • Talking Points: A text-based system that sends translated messages to your phone.
  • Principal Newsletter: A personal message from Principal Zack Elvig, sent on Mondays.
  • Friday Bulletins:  We email the school bulletin weekly via a system called School Messenger. It is always updated on the Ingraham website. Occasionally, we hear from parents/guardians who say they are not receiving the bulletin or have suddenly stopped receiving them.  It is usually an email filter issue, or you have inadvertently unsubscribed.  Please manage your SPS communication preferences

Activities and Other News:

Friends of Ingraham Community Grants are Now Open!

The second FOI Community Grants cycle of the 2025-2026 school year opens January 8 and closes January 21. Join us at the January 22 FOI meeting to review the applications and be part of the approval process!

One of the many ways that donations to FOI directly supports Ingraham students, teachers, and staff is through our Community Grants program. Community Grants help to strengthen, expand, and enrich our students’ educational and extracurricular experiences.  Our budget for grant requests this school year is $60,000 and funded entirely by donations from our families and community.

For information about what was funded during the first grants cycle in October, please visit FOI Community Grants. The third and final grants cycle of the year will be in April.
