Confirm Emergency Contacts
Please complete the Student Data Verification form online through The Source, Sept. 4 – 30th. The student data verification form enables parents and guardians to update their household and student information online. This form includes important student health information, emergency, and family contact information, and much more. To access, log in to your Source account and select Student Data Verification form from the navigation menu.
If you do not have a Source account, please see this link for more information: Technology Supports for Families. The Source is where you can view your student’s schedule, grades, and attendance, as well as pay for school fees in SchoolPay.
SPS Check Yourself Questionnaire
Seattle Public Schools (SPS) will be administering the Check Yourself questionnaire to students as part of the SBIRT program. This program is grant funded and aims to reduce substance use, promote mental health, and provide students with the resources needed to thrive. The Check Yourself questionnaire is completely voluntary. Families can choose to excuse their student, and students can also decline to participate. There is no penalty for not participating and your student’s grades will not be affected. The questionnaire can be previewed at your school or on the SPS SBIRT/Check Yourself website. To opt your student out of participation, please contact Ingraham’s Prevention and Intervention Specialist, Danielle Delappe dcdelappe@seattleschools.org
College Representative Visits
Students! One of the more important opportunities available every fall are the College Admissions Rep visits to Ingraham High School. College Admissions Representatives from campuses across the state and country are scheduled to visit IHS and meet with interested students in grades 9-12 (students only). We already have several visitors on the schedule, and they are very excited to meet you. This is one of the few opportunities available to meet the person who may be reading your college application, ask questions about the campus, and gather helpful information to use during your college research and the admission/application process. These visits are especially helpful for seniors who are about to begin the college application process.
Students are required to sign-up to attend these sessions and do so via their Naviance/High School and Beyond Plan accounts.
To sign-up: Please log in to your Clever account
- Click on Naviance
- Click on Colleges, then college visits
- Click on View Details and register for the college you want to attend!
Then write down the visit on your planner or personal calendar. On the date and time of the visit, come down to the library and meet the representative! You are welcome to stay for a portion of the visit or the entire visit before heading back to class.
Please continue checking the visit section as new college visits are added.
Parents: Visit the Ingraham website under Resources for information College Visits
SAT for seniors and PSAT for juniors
Seattle Public Schools will be offering the School Day SAT and PSAT this fall. Ingraham will be offering these assessments on the morning of Thursday, October 23rd , making scores available to students on November 6th. The SAT and PSAT are now completely digital for all students. Students must test on their district provided device (if they don’t have one, students need to get one). Device preparation will take place in school Oct. 20th – 22nd. Students can also find information on how to prep their device and access a test preview and/or test practice on their grade level Schoology Page.
Running Start students: if you plan to test at Ingraham, it is your responsibility to make a plan in advance to make that happen. If you have morning college classes talk with your professors about missing class. Get a district laptop as soon as you can, and make sure that Bluebook is available on the device.
Look at the district’s assessment page for more general details and be on the lookout for updates in future bulletins.

Transportation via King County Metro
Due to a statewide measure, youth who are under 19 years old can ride public transportation for free. This means that the district no longer provides Youth ORCA cards to SPS students. For riders 13 and older, using a Youth ORCA card is highly encouraged, but not required. Tapping a Youth ORCA card allows transit agencies to better understand how many young people are riding transit, including where and when.
Students aged 13 and older are encouraged to order a free Youth ORCA card on the My ORCA website (the card will automatically be registered when ordered). Students who currently have a Youth ORCA card can continue to use the card, even if it has an expiration date.
Please go to the SPS Transportation webpage for more information

Bright Futures: Who are we? What do we do?
We are a Friends of Ingraham (FOI) program of parent volunteers who work with Ingraham staff to directly help over 200 Ingraham students experiencing housing and food insecurity. One way we do this is by providing a special space in the school, called the Pride Closet. This is a safe, judgement-free room where our students in need can pick up essentials like clothing & shoes, backpacks & school supplies, warm coats & gloves, and a variety of toiletries. We’re kicking off this school year with a Backpack Drive! Please help us meet our goal of 40 new backpacks by going here to purchase one!
We also partner with the U District Food Bank and the Ingraham Bridges program to distribute food backpacks to our students every Friday. How can YOU help? How about an easy food bank delivery shift on an upcoming Thursday? Sign up to help with an easy food back delivery shift for more info!
We do this and so much more! Please join us at our monthly committee meetings which take place at the school on the second Tuesday of every month in Room 62 at 10:00am to find out more about this amazing program and how you can get involved! Please reach out to the Bright Futures Chair, Michele Fowler, with any questions at foibrightfutures@gmail.com.
School Communication
Ingraham uses various methods to communicate information out to students and families:
- Student’s SPS email accounts
- Schoology pages
- School Bulletins: We email the school bulletin weekly via a system called School Messenger. Occasionally, we hear from parents/guardians who say they are not receiving the bulletin or have suddenly stopped receiving them. It is usually an email filter issue, or you have inadvertently unsubscribed. Please manage your communication preferences.
- TalkingPoints- a text-message based service to allow families faster and language-barrier-free communication.
