Pre-Planned Absence Forms
If your student will be missing two or more days of school, please remember to submit a Pre-Planned Absence Form. Common examples of pre-planned absences include family vacations, surgery or medical procedures, family events, and non-district athletic competitions. Providing the form in advance helps students and teachers plan for missed instruction and assignments.
Forms are available in the Attendance Office or online on the Ingraham Attendance page:
https://ingrahamhs.seattleschools.org/resources/attendance/#4cd5c4393c24
Completed forms must be turned in at least three school days before the first day of the planned absence. Thank you for helping us support strong, consistent attendance!
Hey Ram Fans: Can we get to 100%?
We are at the end of the Friends of Ingraham’s official once-a-year Annual Appeal and sadly, we did not reach our goal of $75,000. This means some programs we hoped to fund are at risk in real time. These events, activities, and supplies are not covered by the district and Ingraham’s next FOI grant cycle for teachers and staff (when they request items they need) happens at the beginning of 2026.
Never fear, if you missed our calls to action or the deadline slipped your mind, you can still contribute. Your donations go toward things like science materials, supplies for the nurse’s office, calculators, camera equipment, field trips, snacks for the counseling office, support for our amazing Bright Futures program, teacher and staff appreciation events, and so much more.
So, channel that Giving Tuesday energy from earlier this week, click here, and show your support for your student(s) and our incredible school! https://givebutter.com/saiIZ3

College Representative Visits
Students! One of the more important opportunities available every fall are the College Admissions Rep visits to Ingraham High School. College Admissions Representatives from campuses across the state and country are scheduled to visit IHS and meet with interested students in grades 9-12 (students only). We already have several visitors on the schedule, and they are very excited to meet you. This is one of the few opportunities available to meet the person who may be reading your college application, ask questions about the campus, and gather helpful information to use during your college research and the admission/application process. These visits are especially helpful for seniors who are about to begin the college application process.
Students are required to sign-up to attend these sessions and do so via their Naviance/High School and Beyond Plan accounts.
To sign-up: Please log in to your Clever account
- Click on Naviance
- Click on Colleges, then college visits
- Click on View Details and register for the college you want to attend!
Then write down the visit on your planner or personal calendar. On the date and time of the visit, come down to the library and meet the representative! You are welcome to stay for a portion of the visit or the entire visit before heading back to class.
Please continue checking the visit section as new college visits are added.
Parents: Visit the Ingraham website under Resources for information College Visits

Students: It is required that all students complete a vehicle registration form and obtain a free parking pass from the main office if they plan on parking on campus. The process of obtaining a parking pass will be announced soon, so stay tuned. A valid driver license must be shown when obtaining the parking pass. Student parking is in the lot off Meridian and the south section of the south parking lot next to the fields. Staff/Visitor parking is next to the auditorium/upper gym entrance, as well as in the south parking lot near the tennis courts. Do not park in the Helene Madison parking lot. Cars may be ticketed and/or towed if you are illegally parked in a accessible parking spot (without the appropriate parking permit) or in a fire lane (yellow or red curbs).
Bright Futures needs YOUR support to help our Food Insecure Families
Did you know that approximately 25% of the Bright Futures annual budget goes directly towards food support for our housing and food insecure families? Over 200 students rely on the weekend food backpacks that we distribute every Friday during the school year. But over winter break, when many of us are enjoying holiday meals, so many of our students are without their regular food source. Last year we provided 134 Ingraham families with much needed grocery gift cards to help them secure food during this time away from school. We are 100% supported by donations from our community, and we are so grateful to you for helping us provide these gift cards. Given the recent government disruptions and demands placed on our local food banks, we anticipate the need for our families to be even greater this year. Let’s all do what we can to support each other, RAMily! Every little bit counts. Please DONATE HERE to our annual campaign, where every dollar goes directly to our Ingraham students who need it most. Thank you for your continued support! If you’d like to learn more about the Bright Futures program and about how you can get involved, please reach out at foibrightfutures@gmail.com.
School Communication
Ingraham uses various methods to communicate information out to students and families:
- Students, please start checking your SPS email inbox daily for information from school and read the Friday bulletins.
- Schoology pages
- Talking Points: A text-based system that sends translated messages to your phone.
- Principal Newsletter: A personal message from Principal Zack Elvig, sent on Mondays.
- Friday Bulletins: We email the school bulletin weekly via a system called School Messenger. It is always updated on the Ingraham website. Occasionally, we hear from parents/guardians who say they are not receiving the bulletin or have suddenly stopped receiving them. It is usually an email filter issue, or you have inadvertently unsubscribed. Please manage your communication preferences at this link: https://go.schoolmessenger.com/
