Ingraham Principal Newsletter – August 18, 2025
Reaching Full Potential
In my first newsletter, I shared how excited I am to lead Ingraham. Now, as we gear up for the school year, I want to share our vision for students, staff, and the Ingraham community. Our theme this year is Reaching Full Potential. When each of us strives to be our best, Ingraham as a whole will reach its potential.
We want our students to be inquirers who pursue curiosity, maintain balance academically, personally, and socially, grow as reflective learners, and show care by practicing empathy, respect, and positivity.
Let’s dig into accomplishment data from last school year and our goals for the school year.
We’re proud to share a few accomplishments from the past year that reflect the hard work of our students, staff, and families:
- 85% of our students graduated on time and successfully completed at least one advanced course.
- 93% of students responded favorably on the Student Climate Survey, noting that adults at Ingraham teach and encourage them to make good choices for themselves and the community.
- In the past year, we saw improvement in 9th graders earning all their credits and staying on track to graduate—from 79% to 84%.
Aligned with our Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), our 2025–26 goals include:
- Increasing the percentage of 9th grade students on track to graduate from 84% to 88%, with a particular focus on supporting students furthest from educational justice by raising their on-track rate from 67% to 72%.
- Raising the percentage of students completing at least one advanced course and graduating on time from 85% to 95%.
- Improving student climate survey results around belonging and relationships from 88% to 92% overall, and from 85% to 92% for students of color.
