Welcome Ingraham Families!
Friends of Ingraham (FOI) is the parent-teacher organization that supports all Ingraham High School’s wonderful students and staff. By coordinating with Ingraham administrators, teachers, counselors, and other parent groups, FOI helps keep families informed, connected, and engaged.
Friends of Ingraham operates as a nonprofit independent from the national Parent-Teacher Association. Because we consider ALL Ingraham families valuable members of Friends of Ingraham, regardless of their ability to contribute financially, we have decided to forgo membership dues. Instead, we simply ask that you contribute to the community in personally meaningful way, whether through financial donation to our Annual Fund, volunteering, joining a committee, or simply attending meetings.
Give
FOI relies on the generosity of the community so that we can continue to support Ingraham High School. Money raised through our various fundraisers, such as the Annual Appeal and the FOI Auction, allow our teachers to have the textbooks and equipment they need, our counselors to better serve our students, our sports teams and clubs to be competitive, our performing arts department to thrive, and much more. No need to wait until a fundraiser, though! We accept donations year-round!
Bright Futures is a student support program that was launched during the 2016 FOI Annual Auction, and is steered by a committee of dedicated Ingraham staff and parents working together to directly help over 200 current Ingraham students experiencing food and housing insecurity. Meetings
Attend Family Education Evenings. In addition to our Board Meetings, we hold two types of regularly scheduled general meetings throughout the school year: our Family Education Evenings and our Ninth Grade Family Meetings. The schedule can be found on the FOI calendar.
Volunteer
Volunteer! We provide volunteers to help in the classrooms, the library, during testing, and wherever they are needed. The SPS Volunteer Applications can be found here. Please complete application steps and email to IngrahamVol@gmail.com.
Show the love! Each month we show our appreciation to the hardworking teachers and staff of Ingraham with our Staff Appreciation Breakfasts ! Friends of Ingraham supplies the espresso cart and we ask families to bring in a breakfast item of their choosing. It’s a great opportunity to stop by, enjoy a complimentary espresso, and get to know the wonderful people who care for our kids every day.
