Ingraham AP registration and fees due date:  Nov. 4th!

As you have hopefully heard from your student’s AP teacher, the deadline to register and pay exam fees is rapidly approaching.  Students who want to take their AP class’s exam need to register for AP Exam online using a course “join code” from their teacher.  When asked in the registration process, students must indicate YES, that they want to take the exam.   Both registration and exam fee payment must be completed before the deadline.  The standard cost for an AP exam is $120.00 this school year.  Fees can be paid by cash or check at Ingraham’s Fiscal Office or via SchoolPay. Please be aware that exam fees paid via SchoolPay have a service fee added.    Does your student qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch?  If so, please contact Jennifer Luthe at jlluthe@seattleschools.org or in person in room 162 BEFORE paying the exam fee.  Students on our FRL list have a significantly lower fee.

Ingraham only has 4 AP exams available due to our extensive IB offerings: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, and AP Statistics.  Before paying and registering for an AP exam, please check for conflicts with IB testing. Specifically if your student is taking IB Psychology and also wants to take AP Statistics or AP Computer Science A, there might be a testing conflict.   If your student is hoping to take an AP exam other than those provided at Ingraham, you will need to complete a district-level form to demonstrate interest and determine availability.  Please keep an eye on your e-mail or go to the District’s Assessment website for more information – that form is not yet published.  The district deadline for registration and fee payment is Nov. 6th.
