Global Visionaries Applications Open Through October 27
Are you interested in a cultural immersion trip to Guatemala? Would you like to participate in local and international service projects focused on social and environmental justice? If you answered yes, then Global Visionaries (GV) might be right for you. Global Visionaries has a long-standing partnership with Seattle Public Schools. Traveling to Guatemala is a transformative experience for the dozens of SPS students who participate in the program each year. More information can be found on the GV website.
Information sessions will take place on Zoom October 3, 16, and 22.
OneWorld Now! Applications Open through October 6
One World Now! combines language and leadership instruction with study abroad. Students can take Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Swahili or Korean classes after school twice a week and receive world language credit.
A leadership class also meets twice a month. By fulfilling their commitment to the language and leadership classes, students will be eligible to travel abroad with OWN. OWN provides partial and full scholarships for summer travel. See the OneWorld Now website for more details.
CIEE Global Navigator Program (summer study abroad)

If you need help with the application, please see the application help page, which has detailed instructions for every task. CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad organization that has been around for 75 years. There are more than 30 amazing destinations around the world that you can visit for 3-4 weeks in the summer.
There are language immersion programs in which you immerse yourself in the local scene while you improve your fluency in Spanish, French, Japanese or other languages. There are also programs that focus on service learning where you can work with a community on global issues such as climate change, social justice, or youth mentorship.
Grow your leadership skills and earn up to 50 service hours! Ingraham is part of the CIEE Global Navigator School Network and we have access to over $25,000 in CIEE scholarships for students each year.
