Ingraham Teen Health Center

Ingraham’s Teen Health Center is located next to the counseling office. The THC provides students with physical and mental health services.

The Ingraham Teen Health Center is committed to helping adolescents achieve wellness and success in all aspects of life. We work in active partnership with teens, their families, the school and our community. The health center, which is located in the school, is open during the school year to provide health care and mental health counseling. The health center is available to all Ingraham students.

The Ingraham Teen Health Center is a collaboration among Ingraham High School, Public Health Seattle-King County, and Kaiser. This program is sponsored, in part, by the Families and Education Levy passed by the voters of Seattle. We have a full time Nurse Practitioner and a Mental Health counselor providing all the services. The staff is trained to understand and treat the special health care needs of teens. Our team includes Fiona Smith, the Nurse Practitioner; Elenora Von and Sara Miner, the Mental Health Counselors; and Shirelle Carter, the Clinic Coordinator. Who can be seen at the Center?

At Ingraham Teen Health Center, students may be seen by appointment with consent from their parents, during school hours or after school. Teens of any age may be seen for confidential family-planning services. Mental-health services are available without parent consent for teens age 13 and over [Reproductive Privacy Act, RCW 99.02)]. Consent forms are available at the Teen Health Center.

Referrals to community resources are also available.
