College Visits
One of the more important opportunities available every fall are the College Admissions Rep visits to Ingraham High School. College Admissions Representatives from campuses across the state and country are scheduled to visit IHS and meet with interested students in grades 9-12 (students only). We already have a number of visitors on the schedule and they are very excited to meet you. This is one of the few opportunities available to meet the person who may be reading your college application, ask questions about the particular campus and gather helpful information to use during your college research and the admission/application process. These visits are especially helpful for seniors who are about to begin the college application process.
Students are required to sign-up in order to attend these sessions and do so via their Naviance/High School and Beyond Plan accounts.
To sign-up: Please log in to your Clever account
- Click on Naviance
- Click on Colleges, then college visits
- Click on View Details and register for the college you want to attend!
Then write down the visit on your planner or personal calendar. On the date and time of the visit, come down to the library and meet the representative! You are welcome to stay for a portion of the visit or the entire visit before heading back to class.
Please continue checking the visit section as new college visits are added.

Why College Visits Are Important
Why Visit Colleges
- Get a firsthand view, Get answers to your questions, Get valuable information, and Get ready to decide.
Gear up research and information from Gear Up, WA State shows that students who attend at least 1 college visit are 1½ times more likely to enroll in college after high school graduation, & even 3 times more likely if a parent attends the college visit with the student. Visiting a campus can help you get a first-hand look at a school or program to see if it is a good fit. You can see what the atmosphere is like. Find out what support programs are offered and talk to faculty, financial aid and admissions office, and other students. If visiting in person is not an option, you can take Gear Up Washington State virtual tours to learn about different post-high school pathways.
