All parents and guardians of students in the performing arts are welcome. We meet once a month, usually on the first Wednesday of the month, at 7 p.m. in the band room (in normal times).

Ingraham orchestra received a Silver at the Forum Music Festival in Los Angeles, CA.
The 1st violin section received an Outstanding Musicianship Award in Spring 2016

Choir
Attention singers and those who love to sing. We are looking for talented performers and fresh voices to add to next year’s concert choir class. Come be a part of something new that’s happening at Ingraham High School – join choir! Singers of all levels and abilities are welcome, just come with a desire to work hard and sound your best! Symphonic Band
A non-audition ensemble consisting of all grade levels. The Symphonic Band play high level repertoire from the standard library of concert band literature. This band also provides entertainment at all home football games and basketball pep bands. This band produces one halftime show for the fall season and travels to a marching festival. Students in this ensemble also participate in the spring parade.

Wind Ensemble
An auditioned ensemble consisting of all grade levels. The Wind Ensemble specializes in high level, contemporary wind band literature written by current composers. This band travels to one festival each year and welcomes in guest clinicians on a regular basis. Students in this ensemble participate in our spring parade trip. Auditions are held in May for the following fall.

Percussion Ensemble
An auditioned group consisting of all grade levels. Percussionists at Ingraham have the opportunity to learn about all facets of the percussion world, from Drum Line with the marching, to Triangle with the orchestra. Members of the class provide percussion support for both bands and both orchestras at Ingraham. As well as performing percussion ensemble literature. Auditions are held in May for the following fall.

Jazz Ensemble
An auditioned group consisting of all grade levels. Jazz band focuses on repertoire from the Big Band Era, but also plays more contemporary selections. The band travels to several festivals and competitions throughout the year. Jazz meets before school 5 days a week, Members are required to be registered in one of the large ensembles during the day. Auditions are held the week before school starts on Monday.
