Message from Friends of Ingraham: Seeking Ingraham Sophomore/Junior Parents to join the Seniors as they Spree!

Are you up for an all-nighter on June 18th??? We hope so!

The Senior Spree committee is seeking 18 more volunteers to chaperone the post-graduation celebration.

It’s a BIG ask – we know! Not many of us (do any of us?) stay out all night anymore, especially on a “school night.”

Why Junior and Sophomore parent-volunteers?

No senior wants their parent hanging around at the party. It’s an opportunity to check out the event and pay it forward for when it is your student’s turn to Spree. Many of us on the Spree committee chaperoned last year and had a blast. The night flew by!

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4FAFAF2FA6F85-chaperones

Here’s a quick summary of what we’re looking for:

18 Volunteers Total (10 minimum)

9 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. The is the big lift, 8.5 -hour shift.

Help check students in after graduation, load the buses and then supervise at the destination. Volunteers will ride the bus with students. You’ll all enjoy the first venue for a couple of hours and then move to the next for the remainder of the evening. Both venues offer food and fun activities.

18 Volunteers Total (13 minimum)

1:45 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.

Yep, in the wee hours of the morning. Six additional volunteers will join the group at the 2nd venue, located 17 minutes from IHS.  Shhh…it’s a secret for seniors…. but for your consideration, think of a Las Vegas-style game. A fun one to help with!

Questions? Email Louis Figueroa louisfigueroa@hotmail.com or Agnes Montejano

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your consideration!

  • Students, please start checking your SPS email inbox daily for information from school.
  • Schoology pages
  • School Bulletins:  We email the school bulletin via a system called School Messenger.  Occasionally, we hear from parents/guardians who say they are not receiving the bulletin or have suddenly stopped receiving them.
