    Netflix Series 13 Reasons Why
    Posted on 04/23/2018

Many of our youth have watched the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. As school counselors, we found our youth struggling watching this alone. There is a second season coming out and National Association of Psychologists have put out information about both the first and second season for families and staff to guide youth if they are watching this series. We know the issues in the series are very real and that some of our students may be struggling with those same issues. It is not our intention to sweep those under the rug. But we do want to start conversations at home and at school on how to support students, and help them process things they are seeing in TV and other media.
