    Greetings from the Counseling Office!

    Thank you for your patience during this time.  This year is going to be very different to say the least.  Please don’t hesitate to email us with your concerns, ideas and or questions.

    Please fill out the MS schedule change form if you need a schedule change.  We had 115 requests as of 9/2.  We will work through them as fast as we can.  Deadline is September 11th for a schedule change request.

    Schedule Change Requests:

    1. All requests must be sent through the following MS forms link
    2. No teacher changes
    3. No elective changes
    4. Request if you have a hole in your schedule.
    5. Request if you are missing a Core class (LA/SS/Science/Math).
    6. Request for level changes; for example, if you are in the wrong math class.
    7. Request if you no longer are doing RS.
    8. The Master Schedule is attached to this email.
    9. No appointments for a schedule change. MS forms only.

    FREE and REDUCED LUNCH

    The Free and Reduced Lunch form needs to be completed each school year.

    If your family qualifies, please complete the form. Online is ideal, but you may fill out a printed form and return it to Nutrition Services (options for submission noted on the form).

    RESOURCE CENTERS

    SPS is currently operating three technology resource centers to support PreK-12 students and families with technology access at John Marshall Alternative High School, Chief Sealth High School and Mercer Middle School. The following five technology resource center sites will be accessible to students and families during the second week of September: Concord International Elementary School; Rainier View Elementary School; Aki Kurose Middle School; Bailey Gatzert Elementary School, and Nathan Hale High School.  Working hours will be provided upon opening.

    Students/families can make appointments for the following services by calling Student Tech Line at:  206.252.0100 or email:  laptops@seattleschools.org:

    • Technology support
    • Laptop and SPS devices
    • Remote learning & educational resource access for example, Schoology
    • Internet Access (WiFi Hot Spots)
    • Technology resource information
    • Translated services will be available
