    Symphony Orchestra Auditions for 2019-20

Symphony Orchestra auditions for strings, winds and brass will take place the week of April 15 - 19, 2019.
To schedule an appointment for your audition, please contact Heidi Oveson hloveson@seattleschools.org

Ingraham's orchestra programs are an inclusive and supportive community of music makers that strive to create a positive place for a variety of musical experiences. Students are exposed to a variety of repertoire to deepen their understanding of the history of Classical  music and musical traditions. Through chamber music, concertos, and alternative ensembles the musicians in the Ingraham Orchestras are able to build their confidence as independent music makers.

By utilizing the 21st century skills of communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, growth mindset, and perseverance we can show how the arts contribute to students' overall learning and growth in and outside of the music classroom.

Concert Orchestra - consists of string players that have some orchestra experience from their time in middle school.

Symphony Orchestra - advanced ensemble is by audition only. Students in the symphony perform in four concerts a year as well as various festivals and competitions.

    Choir Auditions

Concert Choir is a non-audition group open to all singers interested in discovering and sharing their skills in vocal performance.
