    Welcome Ingraham Families!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! Friends of Ingraham (FOI) is the parent-teacher organization that supports all Ingraham High School’s wonderful students and staff. By coordinating with Ingraham administrators, teachers, counselors, and other parent groups, FOI helps keep families informed, connected, and engaged.

Friends of Ingraham operates as a nonprofit independent from the national Parent-Teacher Association. Because we consider ALL Ingraham families valuable members of Friends of Ingraham, regardless of their ability to contribute financially, we have decided to forgo membership dues. Instead, we simply ask that you contribute to the community in personally meaningful way, whether through financial donation to our Annual Fund, volunteering, joining a committee, or simply attending meetings.

For the latest FOI information, visit our website at: https://www.friendsofingraham.org

    Get Involved!

    • Give! FOI relies on the generosity of the community so that we can continue to support Ingraham High School. Money raised through our various fundraisers, such as the Annual Appeal and the FOI Auction, allow our teachers to have the textbooks and equipment they need, our counselors to better serve our students, our sports teams and clubs to be competitive, our performing arts department to thrive, and much more. No need to wait until a fundraiser, though! We accept donations year-round!
    • Connect with us on the Friends of Ingraham Facebook page to keep up-to-date on volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and more! You can also join our Friends of Ingraham Community group, a great place to ask questions and learn more about our Ingraham community.
    • Attend Family Education Evenings. In addition to our Board Meetings, we hold two types of regularly scheduled general meetings throughout the school year: our Family Education Evenings and our Ninth Grade Family Meetings. The schedule can be found on the FOI calendar.
    • Volunteer!  We provide volunteers to help in the classrooms, the library, during testing, and wherever they are needed. The SPS Volunteer Applications can be found here. Please complete application steps and email to IngrahamVol@gmail.com.
    • Show the love! Each month we show our appreciation to the hardworking teachers and staff of Ingraham with our Staff Appreciation Breakfasts! Friends of Ingraham supplies the espresso cart and we ask families to bring in a breakfast item of their choosing. It's a great opportunity to stop by, enjoy a complimentary espresso, and get to know the wonderful people who care for our kids every day. The complete schedule of Staff Appreciation Breakfasts can be found on the FOI calendar. For more information, please contact Sonya McLaughlin at sonyakim@zoho.com.
    • Bright Futures is a program at IHS that launched at the 2017 FOI Auction. Due to the generous support of our community, IHS counselors are now able to more comprehensively support our students who are facing homelessness or housing insecurity. Through Bright Futures, FOI created the PRIDE Closet, a space where students can access necessities such as warm clothes, food, and school supplies. If you would like to help keep the PRIDE Closet stocked, please consider purchasing something from our Amazon Wish List. Click here to learn more about the Bright Futures program!
    • Attend the Friends of Ingraham Auction! Each spring, Friends of Ingraham holds its annual auction, bringing together parents, teachers, and staff in a fun evening of socializing and generosity. Funds raised at the auction support critical programs at the school, benefiting our whole community. This year's auction will be held on March 28, 2020 at North Seattle College in the Grove Dining Room. Save the date and stay tuned for further details!
