Everyone welcome! Hope to see YOU there!

The Multicultural Dinner is a fundraiser that will benefit our sister school, St. Joseph, in the Taita-Taveta district of Kenya. Because Kenyan schools are funded only through the 8th grade, we’re hoping to raise enough money to subsidize and supplement educational opportunities for students through high school. We are working with Equal Means, a 501©3 Seattle non-profit organization, started by teens for teens, that provides scholarship programs for Kenyan students beyond the 8th grade. Liya Mulugeta, Clara Grim, and Megan Jenkins, three Ingraham students, are teens who are involved with Equal Means, and who are promoting the plight of Kenyan students’ lack of secondary education. Last year we raised $500, which was enough money to provide a year’s education for three students.
