    Note: The John Marshall location has closed. 

    The Ingraham Library will be closed on June 9 from 9:00-12:30 and June 10 from 12:30-4:30 for AP exams.

    Dear Ingraham Students/Families:  Please return all Ingraham laptops, hotspots, books and other items according to the following schedule: 

    SENIORS Checkout/Return Items:

    Seniors June 8            Cohort A or C:  11-4pm

    Seniors June 9            Cohort C:  11-4pm

    Seniors June 11          Cohort B or C:  11-4pm

    All seniors will be returning items in the cafeteria near the upper gym.

    Cohort C REMOTE STUDENTS, grades 9-11

    All Cohort C students return all items June 17th, 12pm-3:45pm.  All items need to come to the Cafeteria.

    If you cannot return items on Thursday, bring them on the Friday, June 18th.  Call 206-252-4029 to arrange someone to meet you at the door.

    Cohorts A & B STUDENTS In-Person, grades 9-11

    Students will be coming from their classroom.  Please report to your regular schedule and the teachers will bring classes down in a predetermined order. All items are turned in at the Library.

    11th grade: June 16th   Cohort A & B 9am -3:45pm  

    10th grade: June 17th   Cohort A & B 9am -3:45pm  

    9th grade: June 18th     Cohort A & B 9am -3:45pm

    Here is a quick tutorial on how to see what your student has listed on their account.

    IB Declaration of Diploma Candidacy 

    Sophomores who are planning on doing the IB diploma will need to complete the declaration of candidacy.  This involves two parts: an online Teams Form, 2023 IB Diploma Declaration, Page 1, and an online word document, IB Declaration Form_OL_2023.  Both forms will be posted to the IB page on Ingraham’s website. The due date for submitting is 16 June 2021.  Students who have not made a decision at this point can submit the declarations early in September.  Please contact Guy Thomas, IB Coordinator, at or 206.252.3923.

    Yearbook Distribution Dates Announced

    June 8th, 9th, 11th from 11am – 4pm each day

    Yearbooks will be distributed in the foyer outside the upper gym (between the cafeteria and gym).  Outside pickup near the upper gym entrance will be available for Cohort C Students on the same days:

    Yearbooks are available for purchase until the end of the school year. $60 via SchoolPay

    Spirit Gear Sale

    This will be the final spirit gear sale of the school year.

    When:  Wednesday, June 9th, 2pm-4pm

    Where:  East entrance to the upper gym 

    National Honor Society Applications Due June 16th

    Applications for NHS opened May 31st and run through June 16th.  Applications submitted after this time will not be considered. We are looking for members with high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character, who are looking to give back and help out their community! The NHS is great for those who are looking to complete group community service activities and who truly believe in a greater cause. Link Crew is a great opportunity to meet other students and welcome new students into our Ingraham community—all while earning Service Learning hours.     Boys Water Polo

    Boys Water Polo is excited to return to the pool in the fall, and the team needs new players to make it happen. No water polo experience needed! Anyone interested for the fall 2021 season, please let us know via the survey at this link:

    The Ingraham High School Performing Arts Boosters Seek Board Members

    If you are a parent/guardian of a child in any of the performing arts, now is the time to get involved!  The 2021-22 school year will be a re-building time for these programs.  Now is your opportunity to get involved and have your voice heard.

    We are looking for liaisons to the choir and drama programs (an easy position and a great way to get to know their teachers!), a Fundraising Coordinator and a Communications Chair.

    ORCA 2020-21 – Valid through 8/31/21

    Did you pick up your SPS ORCA card this year?  If not, it is still available – just send an email to and your card can be ordered.  If you picked up your card, and it has been lost, stolen or damaged – you can replace it the first time for $5.50 (via SchoolPay link) – also send an email to

    Enrollment Planning for Fall

    Not planning to attend Ingraham next year?  Please let the district know by filling out the “not attending next year” form online here:  Filling out this form helps keeps records straight and will not affect your current year assignment.

    Have you moved?  Please be sure that your address has been updated and verified with the district. If your address has been updated, but not verified, you may find your student’s school assignment for next year disappears.  You can find the Move Rules chart as well as the document for verifying your change of address in several languages on the district website here:

    If you have moved out of Seattle (north of 145th!), you will need to register with your new school district, or apply for an out of district transfer.  Out of district transfer forms will begin to be accepted downtown on June 1.  (If you apply to your new school district, please also inform SPS using the “Not Attending Next Year” form, above.) You can find the information on enrolling as a non-resident student on the district website here:

    NEW!!  SAT Summer Camp! Sign up here if you are interested in FREE SAT help with actual content from tests and practice tests! We have multiple sessions through the summer for all levels. As you go through this form, you will see all the info for that session. Only sign up for the ones you want to go to, keep in mind you don't need to attend every day in the session to sign up.     The Vivian and Florence Lewis Carkeek Memorial Fund (“Carkeek Scholarship”) is open for students from Seattle Public Schools who plan to enroll in a publicly funded institution of higher learning in Washington State.     NEW!!  Clean Water Ambassadors Program for High School-Aged Youth.  Since 2016, the King County Wastewater has partnered with Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust to hire a cohort of high school interns each summer to learn about local environmental issues, solutions, and careers. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are offering an online program. The Clean Water Ambassadors Program is open to all high school-aged youth in the King County region.  June 28-July 23, Tues-Fri, 1-3pm. Orientation on June 28, 1-3pm. Click here to register.     NEW!!  The Museum of History & Industry is once again accepting applications for their 2021-22 MOHAI Youth Advisors (MYA) program! Youth Advisors make the museum more welcoming for their peers by finding fun and creative ways to connect teens with MOHAI and providing input on the development of museum programming and exhibits. At the same time, MYA gives teens access to museum professionals and adult mentors and helps them connect with their local history. They are looking for creative and motivated teens who are interested in history and community engagement to join. MYA offers stipends for a ten-month commitment (September-June), with twelve spots available in our 2021-22 MYA group. The online application is due June 30th.  (6/4)
