Student clubs and activities provide students with opportunities to meet new people and learn new things. At Ingraham we have a wealth of activities and clubs to meet the interests of every student. To find out more information about a particular club or activity, please feel free to contact the advisor.

All students are welcome to join any club.  To join, attend a meeting!


Art Club - Alan Goodin (Advisor), Room 201

Avalanche Literary Magazine - David Edelman (Advisor), Room 120

Ingraham's literary magazine is put together by a group of students and two language arts teachers. These students plan and organize the magazine, collect and read submissions, and put together and publish each issue. Every member of the Avalanche is involved in the process, with positions ranging from Layout Editor to Copy Editor to Secretary. The staff members are Abdi Adan, Adam Hall, Autumn Straker, Ava Sortun, Breanna Jagodnik, Brenna Kocan, Conner Anderson, Dekeira Wright, Kirsten Ma, Mali Smith, Melly Jagodnik, Reni Jagodnik, and Sarah Rogers. Avalanche staff is advised by Mr. Edelman, and Mr. Ferguson.

Cascade Newspaper - Advisor TBD

Ingraham Cascade offers students interested in writing, photography, and publishing a chance to work on the production of a monthly paper. Cascade production takes place in a sixth period Journalism Writing class, in which students learn news writing and principles of design and production. In addition, a student-led club meets monthly to collect the contributions of writers from among the greater student body.

Cascade is always seeking new writers, photographers, and artists to add to an energetic team of students. The class is fast-paced and collaborative, giving students leadership and team-building experience. Whether as a contributing writer or a journalism student, all Ingraham students are encouraged to join our team!

Color Guard - Angela Tousley (Advisor), Room 10

The Colorguard is a group that works with the band during the field show and parade seasons and competes on their own during the winter. Often referred to as the sport of the arts, color guard is a unique art form that utilizes aspects of ballet, modern dance and hip-hop while spinning flags, rifles and sabers. We are always looking for energetic girls and boys with a passion for dance and a strong desire to compete. Be a part of this quickly developing team at Ingraham.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization in Family and Consumer Sciences education. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education.

Robotics Team – Brett Schormann (Advisor), Room 202
The new Ingraham Robotics Team will build robots to compete in the FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC®). Each year, starting in January, students and mentors solve a common problem in a six-week timeframe using a standard "kit of parts" and a common set of rules. Teams build robots from the parts and compete in games designed by a committee of engineers and other professionals. Everyone is welcome to join. Learn more about Robotics here>>


Rocket Club - Room 208

The Ingraham Rocketry Team placed 29th in the United State's largest model rocketry competition, Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC)! With only a slight error in calculation that arose from a faulty software transfer, the team did an amazing job! The team is now preparing for another exciting year of Ingraham Rocketry!
