Ingraham High School Mission Statement: To empower Multi-Ethnic Urban Youth to participate fully in post high school training, the world of work and society, in order to become productive and responsible citizens in our local and global community.
Academy of Information Technology (AOIT)
A small learning community, comprising a group of students within the larger high school who take classes together for at least half the school day, taught by a team of teachers from different disciplines. A career academy member of both the National Academy Foundation and the Career Academy Support Network, AOIT provides a college preparatory curriculum with an Information Technology career theme, enabling students to see relationships among academic subjects and their application to a broad field of work. Partnerships with employers, the community, and local colleges bring resources from outside the high school to improve student motivation and achievement.

Community Based Training (CBT)
The goal of Ingraham’s Community Based Training program is to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school. We hope to give students a wide range of real-world experiences, vocational instruction, and social skills training. Each day we gently but persistently push our students towards independence, and we ultimately hope that every student in our department will leave Ingraham with an elevated sense of self-worth and an ability to determine their own future through self-advocacy.
