    Welcome Ingraham Families!

Friends of Ingraham is the parent—teacher organization that connects families and educators in support of all of the students at Ingraham High School.  By coordinating with Ingraham administrators, teachers, counselors, and other parent groups, FOI keeps families informed, connected, and engaged.

Here are some ways you can get involved in the Ingraham community:

    • Join Friends of Ingraham!
    • Connect with us on the Friends of Ingraham Facebook page to keep up-to-date on volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and more! You can also join our Friends of Ingraham Community group, a great place to ask questions and learn more about our Ingraham community.
    • Come to our Parent Education Nights. We hold two types of regularly scheduled meetings throughout the school year: our Parent Education Nights and our 9th Grade Parent/Guardian meetings. The schedule can be found on the FOI calendar.
    • Give! Funds raised through our Annual Fund drive allow our teachers to have the textbooks and equipment they need, our counselors to help at-risk students, our sports teams and clubs to be competitive, and much more.
    • Volunteer!  We provide volunteers to help in the classrooms, the library, during testing, and wherever they are needed. The SPS Volunteer Applications can be found here. Please complete application steps and email to
    • Show the love! Each month we demonstrate our appreciation for the Ingraham staff by providing an espresso cart and homemade treats donated by parents. The complete schedule of Staff Appreciation Breakfasts can be found on the FOI calendar. For more information, please contact
    • Bright Futures is a program at IHS that launched at last year's auction. Due to the generous supporters at the auction, IHS counselors are now able to more comprehensively support our students who are facing homelessness or housing insecurity. Through Bright Futures, FOI created the PRIDE Closet, a space where students can access necessities such as warm clothes, food, and school supplies. If you would like to help keep the PRIDE Closet stocked, please consider purchasing something from our Amazon Wish List.
    • Attend the Ingraham Auction! Each spring, Friends of Ingraham holds its annual auction, bringing together parents, teachers, and staff in a fun evening of socializing and generosity. Funds raised at the auction support critical programs at the school, benefiting our whole community. This year's auction will be held on May 5, 2018 at North Seattle College. Save the date and stay tuned for further details!
